Exactly what I too need. The car I own(V code 4 speed Challenger)was campaigned in the very earliest 1970's as a SS drag racer(time slips are consistent very low 12's at 113 mph) Have found that automatic adjusters from brakes were removed,,,no wonder why almost no rear brakes after converting fronts to disc. Pic shows me how to refurbish back to factory original.

Does anyone know if the auto adjuster refurb kits that you can buy at parts resellers include all the parts that I need. Car now has basic manual adjuster star wheel system. To compound my confusion it has 2 "lefts" and no "rights" and both appear to be non-Mopar star wheels.


As an aside, I've puzzled over the observation that the backing plates have 2 star wheel adjusting slots instead of the normal single one. What is the reason for this,,,perhaps manual verses automatic adjuster????. Cars sold for Police cars did not have auto adjusters as I have read.
