For what its worth, my friends original 70 hemi cuda has the wheel lips like mine. The fold of the metal starts right after one of the molding holes, includes the middle hole, and comes back to original for the next molding hole. Original owner car, never hit in front. December 1969 build on his car. I did notice some ripples along the fold in his, I did not feel on mine.

I am just going to leave the fenders alone. I have spoken to a few owners of 340 cars with 15 inch wheels, and although some of their cars are gone, they remember the fender lips being folded.

His looks no less cruder than mine.
