Interesting topic, because the 69 Barracuda did not have a listed map light option in the salesman's pocket guide here:

But a map light is shown fastened to the bottom of the IP about directly above the right side of the transmission hump in the factory service manual, page 8-73, with no clue about the switch.

So was the map light standard equipment? Or was it included with the optional light group A01 but not listed in the pocket guide?

My 69 Barracuda did not come with a map light nor was the car ordered with the light group option A01 (ash tray light, glove compartment light, ignition switch light, hood mounted turn indicators, trunk light, and headlights-on warning signal).
