But why does this only affect ONE of the solenoids and not the other 3? As I mentioned it is only on the number 4 cylinder. Could that solenoid be bad and is there a way to test it? And final question, if it is the oil and assuming the solenoid is good, do I need to change the lifters on number 4 (I forgot to mention that I bent push rods on that cylinder) along with the push rods only? FYI these lifters are $200 EACH.
