first I like to say hi, new to moparts. Looking for advise on what bearings to use for a 470,and which rods would you use long or short. Motor for 68 dart more street than strip.

Welcome aboard! 400 block/440 crank/440 rods/KB 280 pistons (iirc). I'd offset grind the crank to get 470 cubes. Not sure if you need/want 360 oiling main bearings but that would be my personal choice (rods are the end of the (oiling) line & the cause of alot of oil starvation mishaps. You did say street but you know how that goes! I'd consider some stealth heads/get quench/desired SCR/appropriate cam for a spot on long block then work on ign/fuel/exh etc. Post how it goes
