Last summer when I destroyed my first Charlie's pan I called him looking for another one. I was in a hurry trying to get the car back together for the 10 Grand Nats at Norwalk. I ordered one Friday and Sunday morning drove up to his shop and picked it up. Super nice guy who still understands what customer service is. He built that pan on the weekend and was wiping it off just as I walked in his shop. Showed me around the shop and talked for a while. He told me the story of his long time employees leaving. The industry will miss his workmanship, but at 74 years young it is time for him to enjoy his golden years.
Now, if I only had the cash to buy the business turnkey! Beep
