I believe it did that because it was used as a propane delivery truck and has a 1/2" diamond steel plate in the bed and a liftgate. After I replaced the fuel tank and pump it has been great. The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it. JB Rhinehart, Realist A-Body's RULE!
