My first time using the Comp Pro Magnums and I really like and prefer the cup being part of the rocker stud and being able to use ball/ball pushrods.

I'm a little vexed why you say you would look for 1-2 turns when you can easily get full lash adjustment with only 5/8 to 1 turn. The rocker still oils through the hole and there also less likelihood of losing a pushrod from the rocker stud backing off since it will still be 'captive' by the cup stud.

I know you want/need ~1 1/2-2 turns whenever you have a cup type pushrod, But you need that room to make sure the lip of the cup can't contact the rocker body at full lift. With a cup/stud this is not a concern since the stud now has a machined flat behind the cup and the rocker.

The pro magnums are a nice upgrade, I think I may switch all my other rocker arm ball studs to stud cups and go to ball ball pushrods. Seems a lot simpler.
