Take a good look at what you're taking apart...There's a master spline on the steering box and the box/coupler need to go back together using it as the reference...
Disconnect the wiring connectors, unbolt the firewall plate and the upper column support bolts,drive the coupler rollpin out, then drop the column down off the two dash frame studs making sure the ground wire is disconnected and have someone help the coupler apart while you pull the column out and you're there...
