Hello,

Where have you guys and gals recently bought your torsion bars? Mopar Performance sells them, but their catalog does not appear to provide prices and the smallest diameter bar they advertise for a B-body is .92". I was thinking about going smaller than that (.87-.88") for this application. Firm Feel also sells torsion bars and in the size that I am considering.

About the car (see attachment), it is a 1967 Belvedere II with a RB 500" BB, aluminum heads, aluminum intake, aluminum water pump, aluminum radiator, fiberglass hood, battery relocated to trunk, manual steering, manual disc brakes, etc. The current front shocks are Chassis Engineering 90-10's; no idea how old. It is driven on the street maybe 2k miles a year (tops). We still want some weight transfer, but it currently has 6 cylinder T.B's in it and it bottoms-out on occasion. This is more of a straight-line car that needs to handle safely on the street. Will a .87-.88" diameter torsion bar work (as in not bottom-out, handle safely)? We could always add a front sway bar (currently doesn't have one) if necessary.

Thank you in advance for the help.
