If you have overkill on your fuel delivery system you may want to think about a bypass regulator, that'll return the excess fuel supply back tot eh tank. This will keep thew pump from deadheading and heating up the fuel, it's also ensure that you have enough if you need it and the fuel will generally stay cooler by running back to the tank rather than heating up under the hood.
