They are definitely an extrusion. I would think that if one had access to the right forming equipment, a die with the right profile would be very easy to make.
My NOS set is black.
Is that a guess at the size or the real size, they are only small if that is correct. I totally hear what your saying about the brittleness with age, and how when new they would be more pliable, just as you say, pretty much the same flex as what a modern day moulding would be. Thanks
