My understanding is that they are fully machined

I'm thinking that they (Fiat) is probably waiting to see how many orders to fill before the production starts?

At the price that they were quoting they will sell a bunch. IMO


I asked the guy that took my order, and he said they come 4.055 finished, ready for parts, but do not have cam bearings installed.
