Years ago I swapped a 1968 RR Hemi motor and tranny with the K member into a 1969 GTX, we ended up wrecking that car going to the races after hitting a big wild dog The owner bought a R/T 440 1970 Challenger out of a wrecking yard in Los Angles and I swapped that K member, motor and tranny into the Challenger I think I took the steering colmum apart and had a extension welded onto it to make it fit the standard steering box out of the RR To many years ago, we never had any issues that I remember other than NHRA raisning a fuss about the sway bar and how I had to beat the 1968 K member up to make the 1970 E body sway bar fit in it
