What story do these plugs tell you? They are from two ten minute drives with a fresh motor- the cam was just broken in and I'm thinking the rings might not be seated yet. I do know that I forgot to get new gas and I was still burning up 7 month old gas that may or may not have had sta-bil put in it (oops!). Also the carb is not tuned but should be close-ish or maybe lean its from my last 408 and now sits on a victor 340 and ported edelbrocks instead of an air-gap and stock e heads.

My thinking is either misfires on the clean ones or rings not seated yet and oil fouling the darker plugs. The heat range looks right on the straps and the rings all seem to say rich. Fuel distribution? It's a victor 340 intake.
