not very high. If your having the truck BBP 8&3/4 narrowed for your A body the drums/backing plates/shoes etc will still fit OK, they are just shortening the axles/housing inward to fit your A body. I would check the wheels/tires you intend to use as that MAY slightly change how much you want them to narrow it. Measure twice cut once is good advice.
