I think we are talking about two different rocker arms, these are the early solid lifter style which oil directly onto the adjuster screw just under the threads. The hole you can see in the picture on the end of the arm goes straight into the center of the rocker. What I have right now is about .350 of the adjuster showing below the rocker which is way more then 9/32" (.2925)
This style doesn't have a lock nut just interference threads to hold the adjuster in place.
