You might want to look at one of these of they are going to sonic them they might also see if the meet some type of spec ???????????
Spec #/_______Tractors/__________________________Current Revision Date/__Price ($US)
47.1/ Driver Roll Cage for Use on 7,000 To 10,000 lbs. Tractors/ June 26, 1998/ 38.00
47.2/ Driver Roll Cage for Use on Tractors, Less Than 6,000 lbs./ June 26, 1998/ 38.00
47.3/ Driver Roll Cage for Use on “Mini-Rod” Tractors, Less Than 2,000 lbs./ June 26, 1998/ 38.00

Bill that is exactly why we are changing the cage on this tractor. It has to meet the SFI 47.3 spec which is 1.75 .095 chromoly or 1.875 .083 mild which is over kill for the class because this spec is for ntpa 2000 hp minis. the club requesting this does not allow that class of tractor. It is like putting 8.90 cage in a twelve second car. The 2 choices seem out of wack to me be I haven't looked up how the 2 choices compare to each other.

1.75 is as common as it gets. Any chassis shop will have dies to bend that as long as the machine will do it. I have no idea where you would get 1.875 bent. Not a chassis shop that I know of.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
