Just went through this on a '70 RoadRunner. Here's an example of how the older colors don't always translate into the newer formulas. EB5 is available in PPG. If you mix it in their Deltron line it's one color. Mix it in their Shopline and it's another color. I'm not talking the difference in color from the '69-'70 color vs. the '71 and up color... this is the same code, formula but different product lines within PPG. Years ago I painted with Deltron. The Shopline is a "newer" "cheaper" line. The kicker is that the Deltron mix is no where near reminiscent of the B5 I remember. Shopline however, matches perfectly. I've heard through the grapevine that Shopline is actually the old Deltron line renamed and that's why the colors are more accurate.
