A basic regulator/filter is a start. I use HF's "better" version.

In general, sand blasters really like dry air. The blaster may plug otherwise. A long length of metal, preferably copper, tubing with moisture trap at the end is good. A refrigerated air dryer is good also.

Desiccant type dryers work OK for spraying paint but I think they would get saturated fast with the air volume needed for blasting.
