I solved the problem. Bendix cable H2106-2 is the part number fits beautifully and problem solved.

The kit I bought has the wrong cable in it. Too short. Checked out another kit from advance and also same problem. Went to a truck shop today and they gave me the Bendix cable and looked it up on e-bay and fits Dodge D200 and 350
