For spirited driving especially if your eng/setup is anything more than bone stock I'd want a bit more & I'd suggest one of the holley clones with the adjustable systems (air bleeds etc) so you can fine tune it to the max. I did have an Eddy 1406 (600 CFM) on a 440 in a C boat (350 horse) & it was fine as a DD (came with it). If you currently have the 600 I would use it and if you are making a new purchase I would consider something else live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
