There are multiple quality issues with QTPs...
Their motors are less robust and can fail, and the butterfly flap plate is too thin.. The biggest issue with QTPs is that when a problem arises they just blow it off.. They quote a 4 year warranty but to me its worthless if they don't back it up with a replacement product.

We have installed both and actually have had some Dougs which are now over 5 years old. The only issue we have had with the Dougs is their Chinese made toggle switch can burn out, so now we change over to an industrial grade USA made DPDT toggle switch no more issues.

We agree the Dougs may cost more but as Pappy always said the lowest price is not always the best deal..
