tell that to all the guys over at the diesel forums that have 3-400,000 miles on there stock 6.7"s with no major issues.

I love mine and it is bone stock.

...and anyone with 300k to 400k is obviously towing and using the s##t out of their trucks which actually helps. My prob is the rest of these trucks that get driven like cars, and maybe tow once/twice a month (and not much weight to boot). Change oil indicators coming on at 3k, check eng lights due to O2 sensor codes, sooted up turbos, stuck egr valves.... the list goes on. I'm not a huge fan of power adders, but an H&S tuner, and pipe in place of the dpf was an awesome upgrade. 4-5 better mpg, change oil when YOU want, not dictated by a crankcase getting diluted with fuel from regen events. '

upside is that I'm always busy at work .... so I'll not own one, stock anyways. fwiw I'm more impressed with the newer engine equipped with the DEF system. They've cut using the egr considerably with this system and have been getting better mpg, oil life last considerably longer, and they finally wised up and went with more fuel filter.
