We took this picture at the top end of Bandimere Speedway, AKA Thunder Mountain, after my brother won the Wally in SST at the Divisional. I towed from Phoenix, he towed from Tulsa. When I started traveling to Nationals and Divisionals in 2001, SST and Stock were pretty much the only guys with open trailers. By the time I stopped in 2008, I was pretty much the only one. Guys would show up with a stacker and two cars, and expect two pit spots, then they would pull me in and tell them, "You get 1 1/2, and he gets 1/2 a spot 'cause he's just going to work off the back of his trailer". They would huff and puff around for a couple hours, giving me an evil eye, until they figured out what a great guy I was...
