maybe but for some people like myself have no need for a 4x4.
I have owned 5 dodge CTD and only 1 was 4X4 and I put it in 4X4 1 time in 4 years the rest of the time all it did was waste fuel and use up parts.

I have never gotten 1 stuck either, and I will say my new 6.7 get as good if not better fuel mileage than any of the 5.9's I had.
