I thought about leaving the fluid level lower, leaking seal not a big deal unless the axle went under water. But then I thought maybe the carrier bearings were meant to be partially submerged, and might get hot with less oil. I also am thinking about adding some Lucas to try and swell the seals, but that may just be a waste.
