I spoke with a media blaster today who recommended crushed glass to media blast my car, (first one I spoke too) he came to my house today and seemed pretty thorough and knowledgeable - said it wouldn't heat up the panels and would leave a good surface for the body shop. Key for me is he's very local and price didn't seem offensive - he would also remove doors to get the jambs, said baking soda would leave surface too smooth, and doesn't use sand for auto or boats - appreciate any thoughts or other questions I can ask - quoted me $800.00 - TIA - Joe - website :
