You want to try and add the largest (diameter & length) muffler that you can fit into the space.

Magnaflow makes 4", 5", 6", and 7" diameter mufflers for that location.

Would using a resonator as opposed to a glasspack make more sense? Isn't that what resonators are for? Which would be a better way to go as they are both about the same size/shape/price??
