There are pressure regulators made for street rods running PS R&P's, which don't need the pressure that pumps made for steering boxes can provide. Don't know why they don't just adjust the regulator in the pump, but whatever.

In this case I read it as a bias problem, not an excess boost or pressure problem. Did I get it wrong?
