The good news is you are dealing with a 1/2 ton axle. The 3/4 and 1 tons are ususally the most difficult to get apart. The wheel bearing assembly should come out fairly easily with a few whacks of a hammer after removing the 3 bolts that hold it in place. Leave the axle nut on while you are pulling the hub bearing to keep the two halves of the bearing from separating.
