I don't know if any of this might be of some help.
The issue I ran into was that the different setup moved the linkage up, forward and out towards the drivers valve cover quite a bit.
I modified the stock linkage and bracket to fit. It wasn't too difficult. Cable was too short so I made a simple extension. The bracket that bolts on the carb linkage is off the shelf (Mopar adapter from Edelbrock). The throttle cable and kick down bracket was flattened on the bench vise to make it reach higher and over. The kick down linkage was straightened a bit and is installed from the outside-in at the rear pivot point, effectively moving it out towards the left.
It works perfectly and its easy to adjust, strong, simple and looks almost stock.
