I lunched the timing belt in my '04 Sebring this morning, it was due to be changed anyway but I had been putting it off until the weather got better. Oh well.

Now what are the chances I have bent valves? Searching online there seems to be conflicting info on whether this is an interference engine or not. I read that valve to valve interference is possible, but unlikely? This happened at low RPM and as soon as I tried to restart it I knew what it was.

Also, looking at the timing belt kits on Rockauto, it says there are 2 versions of the timing belt tensioner, hydraulic and mechanical how do you tell which one you have?
Has anyone on here done one?
