I think I've landed on a cam pick to replace my wounded MP528 solid. Given that I already have lots of gear and convertor, the Comp 20-702-9 R308 grind looks quite compatible with the rest of my package. 575 lift, I & E, 262 dur at .050, 110 deg lobe centers. I don't think my heads will support much more than that lift wise, and it seems as though I need a bump in duration as much as anything. Has anyone here ran that stick in a 340 or 360?
I'm leaving at a good 4500 convertor flash, shifting at 6800, and hitting the lights at 7100, so I might as well get a cam that will work better from 4500-7000 than my current.

i run that cam in my 360 and love it for what it is. easy on springs makes good power

Just curious, what kind of times are you getting with that cam? I thought about trying it out a few years back, but never did. I still have a XR286R from Comp in my 410 stroker (and quite happy with it for what it is).

we ran 10.40 @ 129 in my challenger stock crank 360 with indy heads
