Thanks for posting this, wondering the same thing about my 08. I would love to be able to disable the MDS entirely or move its engagement around. Mine will try to come on at very low speeds and it sounds like a tugboat lol. I find myself driving in the neighborhoods and such with the OD off to disable the MDS.
