Anyone running this oil pan?

I picked up a used one but I'm wondering if I should use the 9qt version rather than this 7qt version?

I called Milodon and asked them and they thought it would be fine because of how the oil was controlled with this pan compared with the center sump pans. They also told me that I could cap off one of the swinging pick ups and just run a singe line oil pick up with a Melling HV oil pump as long as I kept the RPMs 7,300 or less.

So that is my current plan but wanted to ask others about their experiences.
