If that doesn't work, try this. It gets a bit messy and you want to have a hose or extinguisher near.
Warn the engine so it will idle low and smooth. Start the car with the valve cover off. Grab a wooden handled hammer and press the handle end against the top of rocker on the pushrod end and lean on it. It should collapse the lifter some (tick, tick). Release the hammer, and the lifter will pump up. The bad one will take longer.



too bad it's a hemi and the valve covers are $$$ or you could just cut the top off one to keep the mess to a minimum




I've got a few spare Hemi valve covers around..

They are just abit too long and too narrow though
