OP, if you decide to use the Snow kit I would use it with straight Methanol only, no water I have used methanol with race gas years ago in a bracket car before the Snow system was available To directly answer your question on how to step up performance on amotor to make it runs a sgood as a race motor on race gas there is really no way to do that, if you make a big C.I. stroker motor designed for pump gas you can, and I have, make a hoop of power My 512 C.I. 400 block with a set of mildy ported 906 heads with 9.25 to 1 comp. ratio made 612 HP at 4500 RPM and 644 Ft. lbs. at 4500 RPM on CA pump swill back in 2004 Once I added a set of ported Eddy RPM, Harland Sharp 1.6 rockers and up the compresion ratio(10.29 to 1) to use the aluminum heads on pump gas it made more power and torque Lots of ways to skin the kitty
