I usually add auxillary reverse lights to my plow trucks. I generally use the rubber housing tractor light with sealed beam bulbs. I like to wire mine with a relay. I usually run my battery feed for the relay through a switch in the cab and out to the relay. I tap into the reverse light wiring for my switched relay power. That way any time the switch in the cab is on and your in reverse the lights illuminate. Also keeps you from forgetting and leaving them on when your driving down the road. I also like to mount my relay behind one tail light or the other to simplify wiring. That way you only have to run the wire from the cab switch back to the relay. Everything else is in the back.
