Bill do you have any pictures of these? You mentioned it on the playground and I tried to make some but couldn't get them to fit.

I did figure out how to tighten without leaking anywhere though. Who'd think something this simple could take that many tries to learn.

I'd think the copper would be the better way though.
Maybe copper washer?




Mark,all you need do is make the flare then cut it off.Did it years ago on refrigeration connections.If you make a normal (not double) flare it will fit.As far as a washer I don't think that would work well as it may or may not seal around the tapered part of the fitting.
