Years ago I turned the wheels all the way one way and then the box all the way that way and then hooked it up. This did not work though as it was about a 60/40 turn ratio rather than a 50/50. to fix that the tie rods would have had to been adjusted properly , the steering box needs to be centered FIRST , the pitman arm is keyed as is the steering column connection .
