IMO... overkill and $$$ for the combination you outlined.

BTW, my '69 383 Super Bee was much more fun to drive with 3.91s than 3.23s. I had 8.75" Sure-Grip 3rd members w/ both gears and would swap out to the 3.23s if I knew I had to take a long trip. Otherwise, the 3.91s were simply a lot "punchier" w/ the low torque of a 383.
