I would use epoxy. Maybe the regular kind, but probably a "stick" epoxy that you can shape and mold. Or both if you are quick! gotta scuff up and clean the area. you can easily re-attach the piece and even mold the stick epoxy around the break and shore it up

plus, epoxy can be sanded later and painted
