the nearest track to me is 80 miles away, and while i know that is better than many have it, it still doesn't lend for an easy day out.
there is a track only 10 miles from me that has been closed for decades now, (Baylands in Fremont). a good friend of mine made the last pass down the track before it was closed.
the track and the land are just sitting there, after all these years. would be awesome if someone opened that back up, but absolutely nothing in the works.
