Totally different shade and texture. It's not a flat finish. It's very deep black and in the sun, it looks like a zillion small diamonds glittering on the finish. Pictures simply cannot capture the beauty of this finish.


That's 'cause there's metallic silver in the mix...and the real stuff is a PITA to get right - solvent drying time is crucial, even variations in the temps on the hood, from areas where there is, and isn't bracing, can affect how the paint looks.
