Yes, sometimes the home made, Mickey mouse, tool may work for you, but in a lot of instances they won't.
And by the way, the Miller tool uses big,1/2 diameter bolts, and not 1/4 inch, like one other poster wrote about, for his tool.
Have no idea where he came up with that kind of measurement.
Mine has been beat on many times, to get stuck bars out out their mounts.




Same, and I am pretty sure you can still order it from Miller. although the last time I priced it it was $85 or so.
