Okay, picked up fairly nice Hurst shifter, but now a question arises. It would appear from viewing photos of various Mopar Hurst shifters, that a "bushing" is installed thru the top most hole that acts a pivot point for all the linkage and keeps it aligned? OR does the mount bolt install thru the hole and align the various links and such?

Appreciate the assistance on this. The shifter is the A body type 68-70 A833 transmission.

Can anybody post a picture of the shifter assembly and its parts? Thanks again
