I started doing alingments in the late 60s.Never torqued an upper arm.All you have to do is get them tight.Its almost like a torque setting for front wheel bearings.after you do a few you just get a feel for the setting.Most its hard enough to get a wrench on.Let alone in the rust belt where they dont want to turn.GMs we had a special SnapOn ratchet and sockets for the nuts.Rocky
