Our Dart has a RAM clutch and I agree, you need a strong left leg to drive it. But I drove it to Woodward and back (2 hours each way) in heavy traffic last year, so if I can do it...

The only thing I can think to add is the carpet. You may get lucky like we did and manage to stretch the old carpet over the hump. Otherwise you may need a new one. Good luck!
