I love lifted trucks but could never justify the price. I decided to do a body lift, DIY, cheep, moderate skill lever required, perfect! Here's the rub. After lifting tha cab, I tried a running board back on. I was going to sit way to low and look silly. Like any redneck, I thought, "I can fix this." I did too, but in the process, I cut through the tendon in the back of my left hand with a right angle grinder with a cut off wheel. I have to have surgery and will be out of service 7-8 weeks. My truck looks stupid too. So, if you see a 1/2 finished body lifted truck running around, it might be me.
